We are excited to announce that our 2026 FNQ retreat is scheduled at a new venue:
Malanda Lodge, on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, west of Cairns.

Malanda is my home town – a picturesque country town, surrounded by rainforest and rolling hills. I’ve hosted several cooking workshops at Malanda Lodge over the years, plus most of last year’s retreat workshops and meals were in this space. We decided it’s the perfect retreat venue and have booked the entire property for this year’s retreat! This means all attendees will enjoy private motel rooms with ensuites and full amenities, combined with the signature Quirky Retreat experience. 

Pricing and Accommodation

• Attending the retreat solo? Single booking:
  Enjoy your own private queen room: $4,410 per person
• Happy to share? Single booking (budget friendly option):
  Share a room with 2-3 beds with 1-2 other single bookings: $3,850 per person

• Bringing your partner?
  Share a private queen room: $4,080 per person

• Bringing a friend(s) or family member(s)?
  Share a room with 1-2 friends or family: $4,150 per person (for 2 people per room)
  or $4,080 per person (for 3 people per room)

Payment Options

• Discount: Pay in Full Before 29.04.26: to receive a 5% discount (a saving of over $400 for couples).
• Payment Schedule: Pay your retreat invoice in 3 installments:

         – 20% to secure your booking

        – 50% of total invoice by 29.05.26 

        – Final 50% of invoice by 31.07.26
