How to use the Kefirko Cheese Maker:
Strain one batch of milk kefir (600 ml / 20 oz) to produce approximately 200-300g of soft kefir cream cheese. Or use kefir cream for a slightly different texture, producing approximately 400-500g. Adjust the texture of the cheese by adjusting the straining time:
- A few hours for a thick kefir ideal for dips.
- 24 hours for a creamy, spreadable cheese.
- 1-2 days for a semi-hard cheese.
Add your favorite fruits, nuts, herbs, or spices to create a cheese that’s uniquely yours.
