Come cook with me in person! Learn by doing, ask questions, try new cooking techniques, practice making gut-healthy foods that your family will love, and enjoy sitting down to a dinner of delicious food with a group of like-minded people… here’s your chance! {Scroll down to see the menu}
Join me for a hands-on cooking workshop at Bar Deco, Yandina - Monday 17th March!
Venue: Bar Deco – 2 Stevens Street (Corner of Stevens & Railway Streets), Yandina


How it works:
- Start the workshop with a chat about my food philosophy, the importance of gut health, and an explanation of the dishes we’ll be making
- Work together, cooking the recipes with my guidance
- Try cooking something you’ve never made before, and watch other recipes being prepared while waiting for your dishes to cook
- Have a go at decorating a layer cake with buttercream icing, flowers and berries; learn to brine, butterfly and baste a chicken; learn some simple fermenting skills… and lots more!
- Once the cooking is done, sit down and enjoy our delicious dinner together
- Learn tips from each other (and me) as we chat about how each recipe went, what you learnt, and possible variations and ways to serve, as we taste each dish together
- Recipes are included (the eBook will be emailed to you after the class) so you can make them all again at home!

Starter: Seed Crackers (grain free) with Pimento Cheese Spread (made with kefir cheese & marinated capsicum) & Fermented Ginger, Garlic & Seaweed Carrot Spirals to garnish
Salad: Hazelnut & Pomegranate Tabouli (made with quinoa – GAPS option is available)
Main: Orange Spiced Sticky Chicken with Spiced Sauce (served with salad)
Dessert: Celebration Chocolate Cake (grain free) with Chocolate Buttercream Icing, decorated with edible flowers & freeze-dried berries, served with Strawberry Dream
Nibbles: Spicy Nuts & Seeds
All dishes are gluten free, most are grain free, refined sugar free, some dairy free. If you have special dietary needs, please let me know and we will make sure you are catered for! GAPS variations possible with all dishes.
