RIESS Casserole with Lid
This traditional, Austrian saucepan has a practical spout and long handle so that liquids such as milk, water, soup and sauces can be served easily without a drop being spilt. The RIESS enamel saucepan is a much-loved helper in the kitchen and can even also be used as a milk pan.
The rim is curved – known as a rolled rim in enamel terms – and is created by bending the metal during the manufacturing process to form a rounded and stable rim. The handle is made from enamel and has a hole so that the pan can be hung up in the kitchen as decoration and is always within arms reach.
Tip:
When warming up milk, put a few drops of water in the saucepan beforehand and then heat it on a medium heat. This stops the milk from burning.
About RIESS Porcelain Enamel Cookware
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures. RIESS enamel products are suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to its iron core, the enamel conducts heat in the blink of an eye and retains it for a long time, ensuring energy-efficient cooking. The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. Enamel cookware is also recommended for people with nickel allergies.
When used and cared for properly, RIESS enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.

Care Suggestions:
RIESS cookware is suitable for the dishwasher. However, we recommend washing manually for a radiant shine that lasts into the next generation.
Cleaning in the dishwasher:
Remove food residues or burnt on food (see manual cleaning) before placing in the dishwasher, then rinse with warm water. Use the gentle glass cleaning setting.
Manual Cleaning:
After cooking and emptying, fill the cookware with water whilst still warm. After just a short time, the softened food residues can be removed effortlessly. Extremely stuck on or burnt on food residues can be cleaned off by briefly boiling with water and washing up liquid, then cleaning with the smooth side of a cleaning sponge or soft brush.
