Quirky Cooking Classes

This November and December, we’ll help you plan and prepare festive meals and treats that can be frozen until Christmas. The aim is to make your holiday cooking simpler and stress-free!

You’ll receive a holiday menu that you can adjust to suit, plus shopping lists, recipe eBooks, and video replays for each class.

Over the weeks, we’ll prepare recipes so you’re ready for a festive feast without the last-minute rush, and there’s also some homemade goodies for gifting.

Cook along live and ask questions, or watch the replay later. Try new recipes, revisit favourites, and enjoy being organised and prepared for Christmas!

November Classes

Monday 10th Nov, 11am AEST:

  • Slow-roasted lamb shoulder & spiced quinoa (for a Moroccan salad – cook & freeze)
  • Cheesy blinis (cook & freeze)
  • Caramel Apple Pie (bake & freeze)

Monday 24th Nov, 11am AEST:

  • Spiced Orange Chicken (prep & freeze)
  • Christmas Fruitcake (bake & freeze)
  • Grain-Free Shortbread Dough (prep & freeze)

December Classes

Monday 8th Dec, 11am AEST:

  • Shortbread Bases for Mousse Cups (& biscuits, opt)
  • Chocolate Mousse Cups (prep & freeze)
  • Savoury Scones for Christmas Breakfast (bake & freeze)
  • Pumpkin Pie Spiced Nuts (for gifts)

Monday 22nd Dec, 11am AEST: Wrap up of how to finish & present all the dishes made in previous classes

  • Moroccan Lamb Salad (with premade lamb & spiced quinoa)
  • Spiced Orange Chicken with Butter Sauce (thaw & bake)
  • Choc Mousse & Cherry Jelly Cups (make jelly & add to prepared mousse cups; decorate)
  • Blinis with Quark & Smoked Chicken or Ham (assemble)
  • Discuss other recipes made in holiday classes + possible side dishes

  • We “keep it real” as we cook meals for the week ahead and get creative with what we have on hand. We provide recipes the Friday before each class, so you can get the ingredients and cook along with us. Be prepared for a bit of spur-of-the-moment recipe development and plenty of laughs! 😁 
  • Join in and cook with us live, or watch the replay and cook later. You can also buy eBooks and video replays from classes you missed!
  • Don’t have a Thermomix? No problem! Anytime we use a Thermomix we also give a non-Thermomix method, plus there are a lot of the recipes made on the stovetop or in the oven.

All dishes are gluten free, grain free, soy free, refined sugar free, and most are dairy free or have dairy-free variations. If you have special dietary needs, click on the Support button below and let me know and I will make sure you are catered for!

Recipe eBooks are included with each workshop!
